Behold, as we kneel before Thee

Our Master and our Friend

O God be merciful to us

And bid us safely go

The fierce judgment that we could

See manifesting Thy pow’r

And with compassion spare our land

When we pray unto Thee

The Lors, in His mercy sav’d us

Though, ungrateful, we are

Let us listen to Thy command

And Thy mercy to have

Our evils are so much abound

Every where in the land

Behold the treasure of our land

And see how ill they are

5.

O Saviour now Thy grace we want

For a change of our heart

That we may put our trust

And seek always Thy face
