Rose up again from the cold tomb

By His great pow’r divine

He was set free from pangs of death

He led captivity captive

He lives, no more to die

O, ye children of God, behold

The blessed savior in glory

He, vanquisher of death

No more sorrows nor any fear

He has gone to prepare a place

He’ll come and take you home

He looked down in mercy and love

On those He has redeemed on earth

They are His rejoicing

He sees their joys and afflictions

He prayed for them to have victory

And reigns with Him for aye
