Our heav’nly Father calls

Christ calls us unto Him

Our friendship with them shall be sweet

Precious, our fellowship.

Thy tender mercy show

In pardoning my sins

My heart He applied to wisdom

And guided my footsteps.

His grace how bountiful

He has a rich store house

This grace the Lord Himself bestows

It is bought with His blood.

Jesus, my fountain head

I bless Thy holy name

Intercessor with the Father

The bishop of my soul!

Wait patiently, below

Until sweet communion is full

High up in heav’n above.
